St Tropez

With its beautiful beaches, luxury cars, sunshine and non-stop festivities, Saint-Tropez is the chic, glamorous destination for the whole world. But it would be wrong to sum up Saint Tropez simply by talking about its famous visitors. It is also known for the Place des Lices, boules-playing locals, the famous Musée de l`Annonciade, the 16th-century Citadelle, ramparts, a keep ... Numerous artists exhibit in Grimaud and Saint-Tropez: paintings by Philippe Pastor, Georges Rouault, monumental sculptures by Manolo Valdes, Rabarama. The villages on the peninsula host a range of events. Ramatuelle, with its Théâtre de Verdure, welcomes leading actors and authors, offering a rich and varied programme of contemporary, classical, dramatic and comedy works. Jazz festivals, Chasse aux Papillons in the Vallée des Maures, cinema, music … the schedule of festivities is extensive.
